    Ideal Printer for One User

    This is an ideal printer for a retiree and spouse. This printer does not have all the features of other printers but does have all the ones I needed. I wanted a printer capable of printing two sided, color, and capable of scanning and copying. I have no need for a fax feature but it is there, if needed. I also wanted the ability to print occasional good quality pictures. I gave the rating a lower rating because it is more difficult to set up the printer compared to other printers that I have used in the past. This printer is capable of printing from my phone and tablet which I consider to be a plus.

    love it works great...

    I love my new printer, it was easy to set up and I have had no problems using it...it is very easy to work...Highly recommend this printer

    Hard to get it working wireless

    Size is great and is not to loud when printing. But I still can not get it to print wireless. I have it hooked up to my laptop so that I can print. But it will not work wireless with the other laptop, iPad's, or iPhone's.

    Great option

    Canon's quality remains. But the best feature is the ink. Super cheap but yields a lot of paper. This is one of the best printers for most people because of the quality and high page yield for the compatible ink cartridges.

    Not bad for a home office

    I'd give this 5 stars if I could actually scan multiple documents from the feeder at one time. Luckily it's capable of scanning documents that are on the feeder from the canon app on my iPhone. I just have to email myself the documents to my computer. And yes I've contacted Canon support techs and it's giving the same error message before installing the second download. Overall it works great for my home office use.

    Yes it comes with a starter 4 pack of ink. I am still using the starter (Pretty full)

  • Can I scan multiple pages in to one PDF document? Thank you

    The scan feature scans one page at a time, it does not feed multiple pages for a quick scan so you will have to babysit it. You should be able to create one PDF file from the scan though as I believe the dialog box (on your computer) asks if there are any more pages to be added to the file before closing. When you're done scanning, it puts them together for you.

    Yes....all I can say about this printer is it works GREAT...and does anything you want it to do....

  • can you still print in black if a color cartridge is empty?

    I did for awhile, uses quit a bit of ink,,, bought from amazon. LxTek ink. works great and less than 1/3 the price. All four colors 20 bucks.
