This is an ideal printer for a retiree and spouse. This printer does not have all the features of other printers but does have all the ones I needed. I wanted a printer capable of printing two sided, color, and capable of scanning and copying. I have no need for a fax feature but it is there, if needed. I also wanted the ability to print occasional good quality pictures. I gave the rating a lower rating because it is more difficult to set up the printer compared to other printers that I have used in the past. This printer is capable of printing from my phone and tablet which I consider to be a plus.

Size is great and is not to loud when printing. But I still can not get it to print wireless. I have it hooked up to my laptop so that I can print. But it will not work wireless with the other laptop, iPad's, or iPhone's.

Canon's quality remains. But the best feature is the ink. Super cheap but yields a lot of paper. This is one of the best printers for most people because of the quality and high page yield for the compatible ink cartridges.

I'd give this 5 stars if I could actually scan multiple documents from the feeder at one time. Luckily it's capable of scanning documents that are on the feeder from the canon app on my iPhone. I just have to email myself the documents to my computer. And yes I've contacted Canon support techs and it's giving the same error message before installing the second download. Overall it works great for my home office use.

This printer prints really fast and it works with Air printing on iPads. I’m very glad I made this purchase because of how useful it is.

When I finally got this (ordered online and then waited about a month for it to arrive) the box it arrived it was beat up and thankfully the protective packaging kept it safe. This thing is a beast, it is BIG and takes up a chunk of space. Connecting it via WiFi to my computer was pretty simple and easy to do, the setup was simple as well. The only complaint I have so far is that I can't for the life of me get it to print in black and white (grayscale) even when following outdated instructions. The users manual that came with it, and online, do not accurately match up for use with a Mac and the dialog box is not setup the same. After finding and even saving a setting for black and white printing, the printer still prints in color and does a fine print, wasting a TON of ink. I really wish they gave more ink for this purpose as I feel a lot of it, as well as my paper, is getting wasted. The other issue is when I tell it to double-side print it seems to do as it pleases. It either works, doesn't work, or prints half of the sheets double-sided and the other single-sided and of course, spits out various blank pages in between printed pages just for fun.

The printer works well and is fairly easy to setup. I purchased it to replace my Pixma 922. I give it only three stars for the following reasons: 1) the paper tray juts out from the front of the printer; the pixma tray was flush with the front of the printer; 2) when printing, the shield which keeps the paper in place after printing does not automatically deploy; the pixma shield automatically deployed; 3) the cartridges are not as easy to insert as they were in my pixma. I like the printer, but wonder if I should have looked for another pixma. I recommend it with some reservations.

Setup was easy. Automatic document feeder is a blessing for copies and scanning. Two-sided printing worked without a hitch. Print, scan, and copy quality better than my previous HP all-in-one.

Just another x mas gift to complete her camera needs

Solid printer that does the job well. Having mobile printing option is nice. It's a bit too bulky and slow for a "perfect" personal rating but it's a good device that does what we need.

I had a previous Canon Maxify and it lasted 4 years could not get it repaired as it would cost as much as a new one. so purchased the same one because I liked all the features and reliability.

I Love my new Canon Maxify MB2120. Printing is great and it has a lot of options. If you will leave the printer turned on, it will not use much ink. If you turn it off and on each time, it will go through a cleaning process and it uses more ink. L. R.
