Q: Can this be used on a induction stove?
A: Yes, it can. It is magnetic. I used it on my induction burner this morning.
Q: Does it make coffee? stovetop? perk or drip?
A: kettle for stove top
Q: Does this kettle whistle when finished boiling on the stove?
A: No it doesn't, but it boils so hard you can hear it. Im about 15 ft from the stove and can clearly hear it boil.
Q: Can you use this directly on an electric stovetop?
A: Most definitely; do it all the time.
A: Yes, I just moved to a unit with gas stove and have been using this kettle with it for the last 1 month. No issues so far.
Q: Where is this product manufactured?
A: It is from China.
A: I found a metal replacement lid on Amazon for $15 that works very well but does not lock in like the original lid. I’m not sure how accurate the thermometer is but the lid fits well and the asthetics are right. It does not come with a gasket though so I would recommend saving the one from your broken lid and hopefully it works to make it lock in.
