8-inch round, universal make-up air damper kit for use with any Zephyr range hood motor operating over 300 CFM and up to 1,000 CFM. When range hoods exhaust air out of your home, negative air pressure is created unless the exhausted air is replaced by fresh outdoor air. Zephyr’s make-up air damper is designed to balance the air pressure in your home by automatically opening to allow fresh air in while the range hood is operating. This duct cover extension kit replaces standard duct covers to accommodate up to a 12-foot ceiling height. This kit covers exposed duct work running from the hood to ceiling while providing a finished look to your range hood. Optional recirculating kit for use with select Zephyr range hoods. The recirculating kit will filter contaminated air through charcoal filters before being reintroduced back into the kitchen. Please check your Zephyr range hood's specification sheet to ensure compatibility.
