I purchased three so I would have one for each of the bedrooms in my house. One has been doing okay, the second has a short with the buttons, and the third has been soaking my floor. (Yes, I empty all of them and I checked to be sure the plugs are in fact in.) I am outside of my return window by a little over a week now, so of course I would now start to have issues. I attached a photo of my solution for the one that is soaking my floors. I hope it works! Definitely would not buy these again.

I’d read the reviews before buying this ac sadly they were wrong is not strong enough for a small bedroom too loud too and it doesn’t have a auto option it didn’t work for me sadly I can not longer return it.

This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a product purchased from Best Buy. If you’re reading this and still within the 15-day return window — RETURN IT IMMEDIATELY. The unit started making unbearable grinding and rattling noises less than two weeks after I bought it. It became impossible to sleep with it running, especially in extreme summer heat. I contacted Best Buy for help on day 16, only to be told that I was past the return period and had to contact the manufacturer directly. That’s when the nightmare really began. Costway, which honestly feels like a random drop-shipping company, completely refuses to send a replacement unit even though it’s clearly still under factory warranty and barely a month old. Their “solutions” were laughable: • Wait a full month for a part to ship from overseas • Try to fix it myself using videos of a different model • Or go find my own repair technician and they’ll maybe send me $120 via PayPal No guarantee it will fix the issue. No real customer support. No accountability. They won’t even offer a full refund. You’re just left with a loud, broken AC unit and no options. It blows my mind that Best Buy is selling this garbage and then washing their hands clean after 15 days. This should not be allowed. Avoid this brand. Avoid this product. And honestly, think twice before buying anything else from Best Buy if this is how they treat customers.

Does not cool as we expected for the price we paid.

Do not buy this air conditioner. It has given me horrible trouble with staying on. I have gotten it replaced already, but the new one does not work either. It will begin flashing all lights and will not turn back on. Save your money and buy a different one. What a waste!!!

Bought the AC for a mobile home thinking it would work fine like any other AC unit but the AC takes so much power to turn over it flickers the lights and cant even get the LEDs to turn on its so bad. I do understand im talking about a trailer here but its not a massive portable AC, cheap product.

This air conditioner works to cool the room adequately however unlike on more expensive models from brands that you’ve heard of, this unit doesn’t have an automatic water evaporation system so it’s literally draining buckets of water all day. Which is a real nightmare to have to constantly be checking a pot of water on your floor seeing if it needs to be emptied (3-5 x daily). This is going back to Best Buy and I’ll now be spending a few more dollars but will get one from a brand I’ve had and know before like: LG, Toshiba or Frigid aire to name a few not one of those that I’ve ever earned despite 24 seven running of them over the years ever needed to be emptied. This one is the exact polar opposite. I feel like I can’t almost go out otherwise I’m gonna water all over the floor big mistake trying to buy something in less expensive. I guess it’s true you get what you pay for, pass on this one.

stopped producing cold air after two months. Started leaking water on the floor without letting you know it was full. Money spent down the drain

Sadly in not enough for my small room, in not enough cold for my space, sadly I cannot longer return this ac !

Don’t bother I bought it and every hour it turns off and you have to drain it more than 5x can’t sleep over night because it’s full

Cool blowing a/c about to buy another one soon. If you are in a pinch and need cool air this is the air conditioner for you

the unit is effective at cooling small, targeted areas, but may struggle to cool an entire room or larger spaces.

Very efficient and esay too use, highly recommended
