Customers are delighted by the Essentials MAG:2 12.5W Wireless Charger's design. Many appreciate its minimalist aesthetic and sleek appearance, finding it aesthetically pleasing and a stylish addition to their desks. The charger's design is praised for its ability to replace bulkier charging solutions. Positive comments highlight its attractiveness and how it improves the overall look of a workspace.
This charger has a small footprint, clean lines, and a stylish aesthetic that doesn’t scream “tech”. It’s more expensive than traditional charging stations, but it’s a great choice for use in thoughtfully decorated spaces. I swapped out the provided USBC charging cable with a beefier one and it performed better when charging two items at once.

In regards to the MAG:2 product, I enjoyed its use and found it beneficial for charging my phone and Air Pods. The product is elegant, feels good to the touch, and is not heavy or complicated to use. However, I believe many people are unaware that a particular phone case with a magnetic back is needed for this product, something that could be more clearly stated on the box. Overall, I give the product a 7/10 because of a couple of different factors. First and foremost, the product is too expensive to the market in my opinion. By using Belgian linen and making the product look futuristic, I see why the product is at a high cost. However, I would hesitate to spend $100 on a product when I can buy a phone or AirPods charger for $25. I feel the product needs at least a 15% decrease in price for me to consider purchasing it again. Secondly, as stated earlier, this product does not make it evidently clear that a magnetic phone case is required. This can cause confusion for consumers, especially older individuals who may not be aware of this detail needed for the success of this product. If the product were able to function without a magnetic case, I could argue that the price is fair, and there would be no confusion, increasing my rating of the product to a 9/10, as those were my main concerns. In addition to these two potential adjustments, if the product had a station for charging Apple Watches, I think it would be much more attractive. With an Apple Watch charger, this product would have the whole package and be much more desirable to individuals like myself who use an Apple Watch on a day-to-day basis. I very much enjoyed using this product and plan on using it at my office desk for the time being. I hope this feedback is beneficial in creating a more desirable product!

From the moment you pick up the box you can tell it is a premium product. I was nervous about the price tag, but immediately knew it was worth it based on how solid and well made this charger feels. I was nervous about this, as I have tried wireless chargers in the past and have always been disappointed by how klunky, cheap and slow looking they are. They have been tough to use as you have to place your phone just so, and if your nightstand gets bumped in the middle of the night by cat zoomies, you wake up with a dead phone. This charger however, is a game chnager. First off, it grips your phone TIGHT! I have always been nervous about magsafe things, but am extremely confident that my phone is on securly and wont accidentally budge during the night. Additionally it charges your phone QUICKLY! I would pick it over a standard charger, I think it definitely competes in speed with the new fancy iPhone chargers. It also does a great job at charging my phone and AirPods at the same time and I haven’t really noticed worse performance when they are both charging. I got this originally because I am really bad about being on my phone white it is charging at night, which is bad for my phone and for me because then I am super tired in the morning. This forces me to be done with phone time when my phone dies and go to sleep. I’m glad I found this charger as I was about to give up hope when it comes to wireless chargers, but this one is in another league! If you have similar issues or have been weary of wireless charging in the past, I would recommend giving this one a try!
