A: Average is 1 hour depending how many electronics you are running out of the battery. I just use it for my computer and monitor.
A: Yes! My Sealy recliner uses a "Class2 Power Supply PD21 input 100-220 VAC/ 1.6 Amp" power supply .I plugged it into this UPS and disconnected it from mains supply and the recliner operated up and down with out a problem. The read out on the UPC amperage spiked at 1.6 amp to start and settled at about 0.8 amps during operation..This is well within the capacity of the UPS.
Q: Would it work with a generator in a power outage?
A: UPS operation with a generator is dependent on how well a generator will maintain the frequency (slew rate). If the power draw is changing rapidly and the generator output frequency is not stable enough for the UPS to sync with it, the UPS will go into battery mode and eventually shut down. Most newer generators do a better job of holding frequency stable, allowing the use of standard UPS. Older generators tend to be not as reliable. There is not a way to know whether the UPS will work or not without actually testing it. For fail safe operation, a UPS with a generator mode should be selected, but they are usually more expensive.
Q: Would this work for a bi pap machine
A: CyberPower System doesn’t recommend standard UPS for medical equipment. Its recommended you speak with the manufacturer of the bi pap to find out the size of a UPS you need and if its OK to use a standard UPS vs. using a UPS designed for patient vicinity areas.
Q: Can I plus this directly into a Honda 3000 inverter generator?
A: Hello, We generally would not recommend use with a generator unless it is an inverter generator. If the generator is able to output a stable frequency, there should not be any issues with compatibility. Thank you for submitting your question!
Q: Does this unit come in white?
A: Hello Steve, This unit is only available in black. Thank you for submitting your question!
A: Yes it can be used. We recommend keeping the wattage below 80% of the max load. Thank you for submitting your question!
Q: Does this unit have to plug directly into a wall socket?
A: The unit will need to be plugged directly into the wall. Plugging into a surge protector would void the warranty. Thank you for submitting your question!
