Q: Does each 3 prong plug in put out 120v
A: Yes, all three are 120 volts, but it's the total of the watts that counts. Plugged onto a battery, you only have 450 watts maximum. That would be charging a laptop, charging phones, led lights, etc. You could probably run a small tv. If it's attached to a battery, you can use more than when you plug it into a cigarette lighter or power point. Look at the wattage of the item you want to plug in.
Q: What are the dimensions of this device?
A: About 8”x6”x2”
Q: Do you have to charge this device to use it?
A: No...it's NOT a battery! It simply converts (inverts) electricity from 12V (say, from your car battery) to standard 120V for use with your plug-in devices.
A: You want to use a car battery for a light? Why would you want to do that? Aside from the risks of acid and fumes that may leak from your battery and be a harzard to you or someone else in your home, to charge the battery (if you don't plan to put back in a car to do it), you would need to purchase/use a battery charger that you plug into an A/C outlet for charging car batteries. This seems to negate any reason you might have for not wanting to just plug the light into a normal A/C outlet. To power the light from the battery, the 480W INVERTER, 3OL 2USB 2.1A BLK will be more than enough. It will convert the battery's D/C output into A/C out and you can plug lights and other things into the Inverter to power them.
Q: does this come with the cord to plug into the cigarette lighter? I dont see it in the pictures.
A: yes it does. (See picture) Im really happy with this purchase. Haven't used the cigarette lighter cable yet, i have it hooked up to my boat battery. Its great! Hope this helps.
Q: Can I use this to connect an air pump to put air in my air mattress with no problem?
A: It powers my laptop with the cigarette lighter with ease. You should be able to power an air pump with no issues.

Q: How long is the cord that connects to the battery?
