Q: Is this a front vending as opposed to top venting unit?
A: This unit can be set for either inside or outside exhaust. If it is set to exhaust inside, it will vent out the front.
Q: Where are Dacor microwave ovens manufactured?
A: The front of my microwave indicates it is made in Thailand. We just got it last month and are very happy with it.
Q: Will this DACOR microwave fit to replace my old one, model No DMT 2420Sz?
A: No, the DMT2420 is a 24 inch wide counter top model and this unit is 30 inches wide and is meant to be installed above a range.

A: As I understand your question, yes the hinge is on the front of the unit If you look at a picture of the unit you will see a post on the left side. the post is approximately 1 1/2 inches wide and the door of the unit mounts on it. That is included in the overall width of the unit( 29 1/2 inches) and the door mounts on the right side of the post.

Great fir for shallow cabinets
The was a great way to get both a microwave and convection oven off our limited counter space. Our cabinets are shallow - only 12” so we needed something that wasn’t oversized. This fits perfectly and works great. Installed it myself with no problem. Highly recommend!

Amazing product
It is the BEST microwave I’ve ever come across. Does things I didn’t even think were possible. Reheating fries in the microwave is always a no no but with the French fries setting on the auto bake it’s like they are fresh and crispy. Yes, this microwave does that. I love it!
