Dead Groove - Rubicon - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

2017 . Brooklyn instrumental post-metal power trio Sannhet formed in late 2010 and since then have been recognized as one of the most promising and newer prominent bands within the genre. Their sophomore album Revisionist (Flenser Records), was praised across the board, one of the most celebrated albums in this specific genre of that year, and now with their new full-length So Numb they have delivered their most transcendent album to date. For this album the band enlisted respected producer Peter Katis (The National, Interpol, Japandroids, Kurt Vile) who was essential in helping the trio reach a new level with their sound, going beyond the typical trappings of post-metal and expanding it into the realms of electronic, experimental, and ambient, while still upholding their heavy and punishing sound. The trio created songs with a stronger focus on songwriting, with more memorable and evocative melodies permeating the entire album, making it a listening experience like no other.

If you like bands such as Living Colour and Mother's Finest then this is the album to add to your music collection! The Mood Groove was formed by Ed Balldinger and JK Northrup as an outlet to create and record music that stretched their collective imaginations and to invite listeners to something a little different. Their goal was to be InchOut of the boxInch and not be confined to any particular style or genre, yet to be a part of them all. As JK says, InchIt is musical ear candy for the brain, so the third eye can see again!Inch Ed Balldinger is an amazing, if not eclectic lyricist, or InchWordsmithInch and published poet, as well as a talented guitarist with a wide variety of musical influences. JK brings his skills as a songwriter, producer, recording engineer and guitarist. Together they have combined their song-writing skills to create 10 songs in the vein of Rock, Funk, Psychedelic, Soul, Blues, Experimental, Gospel and most of all, Mood and Groove!
