A: DO NOT BUY THIS LAPTOP, DO NOT BUY A DELL!!! Choose a laptop that isn't a DELL... or you'll be in the same boat as I am. Stuck with a laptop that is less than a year old, under warranty, with a broken defective right hinge that's pulling apart the computer screen and cracking the base around the keyboard. DELL says hinges aren't covered in the warranty, even though hundreds of people have complained about the SAME ISSUE. DELL should really recall this product. I wish BEST BUY would take it back, refund my money & let me put it toward a good laptop. I'LL NEVER BUY ANOTHER DELL PRODUCT! Any other brand is a better budget choice, but if you can afford it, buy a MacBook!
A: Yes, this model has a backlit keyboard.
A: Wireless AC is backwards compatible with wireless A, B, G, and N. Wireless N usually maxes out around 450megs a second. The average internet speed in the U.S. as of this writing is about 20megs a second. You lose almost nothing by not having wireless AC because most people don't even have access to internet that can send that fast. For the $299 deal of the day price, this seems like a decent deal for a simple laptop for internet surfing, word processing, and light gaming (league of legends, DOTA, maybe GTA V on low settings, etc. ...at least, that's what the reviews of the Intel 620 graphics chip says.) If you can afford or have access to a fiber internet connection (1,000 megs or so a second), then maybe, maybe you would need wireless AC. But for most people, wireless N is fine. Plus, wireless AX is actually coming in 2019. But even then, N will still be fine for most people unless they have the luxury of a fiber connection.

A: Oh, heck ("heck" was not my first word choice) NO!! This computer is barely powerful enough to turn itself on. Don't expect it to do much more than word processing. It's pretty worthless for anything else.
A: I just got one for work, it’s a decent computer, just a heads up, there’s not a built in CD ROM, which I thought was weird, apparently they make them like that to make them more “light weight” which means you have to buy an external cd rom drive, if you’re ok with that, then ya it’s a good computer,
