Dell - Refurbished Excellent - Latitude 5420 14" Intel i5-1145G7 16GB 256GB SSD Windows 11 Pro - Gray

I purchased this refurbished from Hawk 2301 advertised as excellent used condition. When i received this, there was a skin on it, and it was peeling off. No product in ECU should have a skin on it to begin with. There is also a blue mark on the screen during startup. I am unsure if it is an lcd issue, but it shouldn’t be there. In the description, it says there should be a backlit keyboard, but there is not. That was one of the features i was looking for when purchasing a laptop because i do some work at night and it is easier for me. It did say there was not a touchscreen, but it is a touchscreen. That is a plus, but i would have rather had the backlit keyboard. I will be returning because of the screen blemish and the skin. I just feel it was extremely dishonest to advertise it as ECU when it is not. I added pictures to show the blue mark and the skin peeling off.

I purchased this refurbished laptop and it worked well for the first two weeks. After that, it began freezing frequently. I could be typing in Word documents and the screen would freeze, forcing me to restart. Other times the screen goes completely black and I cannot do anything at all. This makes the laptop unreliable for work or school. I gave one star because it works well and fast when if does. But I can't keep up with the disruptions. I am very disappointed with the quality and would not recommend this product.

Very pleased...Rough and rugged system...surprisingly still very efficient for a refurbished item. Hands down best purchase this year.
