Excellent computer. The ports seem to be sensitive. 1 usually gives out. This was my second Dell and I think this laptop was great for what I used it for. Which was editing and photoshop. Not sure if it was the best for those programs or for those reasons but I was satisfied with the product and think I will continue using Dell for the time being. I’m purchasing my 3rd XPS Dell. I am able to live with some of the drawbacks. Though the port durability, and maybe the battery life or charger can sometimes be called into question, after the later life of the laptop. I am truly satisfied and love the Dell XPS product. And I look forward to purchasing my 3rd Dell XPS laptop.

I got this laptop to trade on. 100% only reason. I will say trading on a platform called NinjaTrader it does ok. The charts would lag a bit and speed didn’t seem all that great. I was going to return it but then I decided to switch back to tradingview and Tradovate and this is where this laptop shines. The touch screen and utilizing the charts on tradingview is nice. Battery life with NT was around 4hrs which is trash. Switching to Tradingview I’m seeing around 8 to 9hrs. Maybe it’s because it’s all web based i honestly have no clue. If I stick to the web based platform this laptop rocks. Using the desktop platform for NT it’s not great at all. A true desktop is required for that software. Overall though the keyboard, trackpad, and 4K screen are pretty slick. I was going to trade in this laptop for the 13” MacBook Pro but biggest reason for keeping it is the touch screen and working with tradingview with it and screen. I can watch Netflix as well and so far have seen solid 8 to 10hrs with just web based stuff. Haven’t pushed this with much else so I can’t talk about that side of it but I’d have to say it would do fairly well. Price wise this may be overpriced. If I can find another laptop with a similar screen with the aspect ratio before I can return it I may swap it but as of right now I’m fairly satisfied. Again my main reasons is because of the touchscreen, quality of screen, battery life and trackpad. Performance meets expectations

I had to go through a 13" MacBook Pro and a 16" MacBook Pro before giving up on them due to poor thermals and poor performance (the lack of upgradeable storage and ram didn't help). Instead I went for this for less initial investment, bought a 2tb nvme ssd and 32gb of Ram and I'm in the same amount as I was for the 13" MacBook with much better performance and storage. The display is bar none the best I've seen on a laptop and the edgeless bezel makes it literally jaw dropping the first time you power it on or watch 4k footage on it. I use it mainly for 4k60 footage editing in premiere pro and it works great even hooked up to two monitors. The 1650ti has no problem running autocad and solidworks as long as the assemblies aren't too large. Wish I had this machine when I was in engineering school.

The best feature of this laptop is definitely the screen. It is an absolute joy to work on. The laptop is way heavier than it looks but that isn't a complaint. Good performance, good keyboard/trackpad, but runs hot.

One of the finest crafted laptops I've encountered. It rivals the Macbook in quality... although a bit heavier. Display is great, crisp and responsive and the 16x9 real estate stands out, especially with the most unobtrusive bezels I've seen on a laptop. Keypad, although not mechanical, has excellent travel and feel. Wasn't sure I'd like the "white" instead of the black carbon-fiber, but now believe it will hold up better, especially against fingerprints and smudges. My only reservation is that for such a pricey and yes, quality, laptop, there is little justification for Dell to toss in the older NVIDIA GPU. I would definitely buy it again, however not sure about the "bang for the buck."

The power to do anything you need to do with a premium laptop. It is incredible at playing games with the Nvidia graphics card. The large trackpad is close to the one that comes on Apple MacBooks. Buy this with confidence the build quality is top-notch. You won't be disappointed.

this thing is amazing! not only does it look amazing and the key board feels great with the track pad but its so fast quiet and light it doesnt even feel like a high power 15in laptop. the price is a little high tough so if you need a lot of laptop this one is great for you. did I say how amazing it looks

Firstly the design and build quality of this laptop is outstanding. These are its strong points. Where it's lacking is performance and features. I understand full well it's difficult to engineer workstation performance into a sleek and slim laptop frame but Dell's competitors are doing it and at a similar price. IMHO there are better options out there if you're main motivating factor is performance and features however if you're okay with sacrificing a little performance in exchange for a stunning display and quite possibly the best looking laptop on the market, this is the one.

Great laptop. This one is the first gen dell gives the XPS a fresh look. It has a display that goes to the edge and refined metal case that looks even cooler than the Apple one. This one has the white color on the palm rest. Looks really good, there is also a black version available with similar specs at dell. This machine can be easily upgraded. The RAM has 2 slots supports 64G max. And 2 SSD slots. This one does not do well in gaming but looks and feels capable and professional for the business world. If you need to show them your laptop.

The Dell XPS 15 9500 is an excellent laptop. The UHD+ 4K display is bright, color accurate, and simply stunning to look at. The display as also bolstered by extremely tiny bezels, giving this laptop a 92.5% screen to body ratio. The keyboard and trackpad are easily the best available on a Windows machine. Despite the 4K screen, battery life is still pretty good. I got about 8 hours on 60% brightness doing my usual workload: Spotify, a couple tabs open in Edge, opening and editing some large pdf's, and drafting documents in Word. Audio is also pretty good: as the front firing speakers are loud and produce detailed sound. They sound a little tinny on full volume, but not so much to detract from the experience. The 1650ti does a decent job at handling tasks like photo editing and some video editing. It can handle some light gaming and pump out decent frame rates on AAA games at 1080p. Due to the thermals in this bad boy and the loud frames, I wouldn't rely on it for your sole PC gaming machine. However, if you want to play some games on the go this laptop is more than capable of it. If you're looking for a 15 inch Windows machine, you can't do much better than the XPS 15.

I've been waiting a long time to get this laptop. The display is super crisp and it is fast. My only issue is the white case/ keyboard combined with white backlighting....it is VERY hard to pick out the desired letters/ numbers. If you are a touch-typist, it's a little easier, but finding the home position takes practice. Aside from that, it is a magnificent laptop.

Great big screen. Never had any unexpected issues or slowdowns in the first 6 months. Light for the size and I get a lot of compliments from others at my university. As a MacBook alternative, I think it works really well. Battery life could be a little better, but it charges fast so only an issue when I can't find an outlet.

I've had this computer for a little over a week and it's been great. I'm a photographer who isn't a "Mac person" and this computer has handled my hefty workload so far without a single issue. I would recommend this for anyone looking to use the Adobe apps on a windows machine.

This is by far the best laptop you can buy for editing videos on the move. Dell made a great laptop. the new XPR looks amazing, the product finish is great, it feels high quality materials. If you buy the UHD + you can have the beautiful lcd panel with touch and 4K UHD. A Must buy…

This is a great laptop! Especially if you're a content creator. The price is a bargain compared to the MacPro! The best thing is you can upgrade the ram and the SSD to even further enhance the performance of this laptop! Something you just can't do to an Apple laptop.

I tried to order this same laptop directly from Dell, but they delayed my order multiple times. I was able to pick this up in store within an hour with curbside pickup. Great screen, super bright and easy to upgrade ram and SSD
