Battery fit fine, but computer may be the problem

My computer was unable to use this battery, for some reason, would not boot up. BB customer service was very helpful and processed my return. It may be a problem with my Dell Latitude laptop, due to age.

This battery did not work for me. My computer is very old, so to be fair, my computer will not accept any new type battery. This seems to be a quality product.

Buying a laptop battery online from other sites is usually a gamble. You can be sent a battery that was lying in a warehouse for a year that lost some of its capacity. I figured Best Buy would only send good quality batteries. This one has worked out very well for my Dell Vostro 3460.It is keeping its charge like it should. My computer even seems faster though maybe that's my imagination. I would caution though to always be careful in checking that the battery is exactly the right type. I took care to do that even looking at the previous battery and comparing the photos.

I bought this to replace the battery that came with my computer. The description of the battery replacement was spot on to fit into my Dell laptop. So far, it works well, maintains a long charge when away from a power source, and meets my needs.
