Digitally remastered edition of this 1992 album including one previously unreleased bonus track. Almost entirely out on their own, out of step with the times, Disco Inferno were widely ignored and underappreciated during their (pre-internet) existence. Remaining largely unknown beyond a small but slowly expanding cult of devotees, they were probably the most ambitious and isolated band of the '90s. Over a six-year span (1989-95) they were also quite simply, jaw-droppingly great - a virtually peerless group mining a steady stream of uncompromising, pioneering recordings. One of the first wave of 'post-rock' acts (and perhaps it's ultimate example), they combined avant-garde aesthetics with a basis in solid pop hooks, credibly depicting suburban alienation and national decay through embittered, intelligent lyrics. Whilst it's now almost second nature for a band to incorporate digital technology into their armoury, you'd struggle to find anyone who went anything like as far as Disco Inferno. In 1992, they took the quantum leap from their modest beginnings to totally rewire themselves and become the most radical, forward-thinking guitar band on the planet, with a revolutionary sample-based approach that was simply years ahead of the curve. Whilst numerous acts were making use of the sampler and MIDI technology, no other band integrated it so thoroughly into the process. DI didn't simply tack on a dance beat or spice things up with the addition of a few novel sonics or quirky quotations. The technology was hard-wired into the very heart of their music. Veering between the deeply challenging and the downright catchy, they continually attempted to push themselves forwards, resulting in releases that consistently redefined the boundaries.

Limited triple 'Sense-Sphere marble colored vinyl LP pressing presented in individual pockets which, when placed in order, reveal a double-sided composite illustration. An accompanying booklet supplies cast and credits, and inner bags featuring complete episode billings. Includes embossed, frameable art print. Demon Records presents a narrated TV soundtrack from the very first series of Doctor Who, starring William Hartnell as the Doctor. The TARDIS lands on board a spaceship, in orbit around a planet known as the Sense-Sphere. The Doctor and his companions learn that the human crew have been imprisoned on their craft by the Sensorites, who blame them for the introduction of a fatal disease. When the Sensorites steal the TARDIS lock, the travelers are forced to go with the aliens to their planet and attempt to broker peace between the races. But many dangers lie ahead. This 1964 TV adventure is narrated by William Russell, who also plays Ian Chesterton. The supporting cast includes Jacqueline Hill as Barbara and Carole Ann Ford as Susan, with Stephen Dartnell, Ilona Rodgers and Lorne Cossette. Incidental music is composed by Norman Kay, and the familiar strains of the Doctor Who theme are courtesy of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop.

Although Michael Denner is not well-known in the mainstream music scene, the 60- year-old guitarist is a very well-known name in the international rock/metal scene, as a former guitarist in respectively Mercyful Fate and King Diamond - the two most influential Danish rock/metal bands internationally ever. Michael Denner contributed with his distinctive guitar style and songwriting on classic Mercyful Fate albums such as InchMelissaInch (1983), InchDon't Break The OathInch(1984) and also the King Diamond classics InchFatal PortraitInch(1986) and InchAbigailInch (1987). Mercyful Fate was also awarded the Inchpioneer awardInch at the Danish critics award InchSteppeulvenInch in 2017. InchIn AmberInch will be released on November 15 2019.
