Includes Doom, Doom II and Doom 3.
A: It has the same issue as the LRG version. tested it myself.
Q: so do you have to play this game online
A: Honestly, I still haven’t actually opened my copy of the doom collection, but I don’t see anything on the box art about needing an internet connection. I really can’t say for sure without having put the game in my disc drive and run it, but I really don’t think it fully requires an internet connection to finish all three titles. It’s a Limited Run published game and I think that they would advise that you to connect once jn a while incase of any updates etc. Typically with Limited Run, they make these games physically for both Nintendo switch and PS4/ps5. When they do these “limited runs” I think that it is expected that they be able to play from start to finish without the need of any patching, but glitches or “bugs” happen, so you really never know when you’ll need a steady internet connection for the patches. Lastly, there is mention in the fine print on the back of the game where it says that you will need to connect to the internet if you’re trying to link any of this to your Bethesda account and I think that’s self explanatory. I think you’ll be fine. If this question is about if you need the internet to play the games, I would say that it doesn’t say anywhere on any of the packaging that an internet connection is required to play the game. Only needed if you would want to link your Bethesda account, which I’m not even sure if that’s an option or just a simple disclaimer on the back of the box. I’m going to post pictures below. I hope this helps you in your decision making process. Good Luck.
Q: Why would anyone get this over the Slayer's Collection?
A: because by getting this game in doom 3 you can long into your bethesda.com account and get a special skin and even name plate for doom eternal when you log in. Also in doom classics collection the games are the original fps games that sparked the doom 2016, doom eternal, and doom year zero games. plus you get 3 games instead of just 2. you can thank john carmack for the wonderful idea of doom think about it if it were'nt for doom back in 1993 we might not have doom eternal or year 0 so i hope this answers your question
A: Yes. All PS4 games work on PS5.
A: the reversible is black with a red star devil worshiping circle on the right side. Looks very generic and dull. IMO.
