A: for automatic I set it at 40%, have forced air heat, I find that when the furnace runs more (colder weather) the humidifier uses more water. I usually add a gallon morning and again at night. I like that I get an alert if it's out of water.
Q: How long do the filters last and how much are the replacement filters?
A: purchased mine 10/24/24 just got alert that filter was at 20%. It has been running constantly, set at 40% automatic for almost 4 months. Just ordered 4 filters from Amazon for $19.99
