“What are the best settings to use. Mine seems to select automatically and it changes on its own. It runs out of water during the night, so I think the setting may be too high. I can't figure out how to change those settings. Thank you”

for automatic I set it at 40%, have forced air heat, I find that when the furnace runs more (colder weather) the humidifier uses more water. I usually add a gallon morning and again at night. I like that I get an alert if it's out of water.
