Q: How many amps does the USB port supply?

A: It took some digging around but what i was able to find is. 5V 0.55A. So basically it will take forever to charge almost any device.

Inexpensive travel device
Bought this as one of the daily deals, and it works just as described. It's a bit bulky. The three prong plug rotates out of the back and snaps into place solidly so it's easy to insert into an actual outlet.

Good Product
Nice and small and will be useful when I travel and need the extra outlets for my other electronic devices along with the USB charging port, won't need to bring a separate charging block just for the USB device. Handy and practical to have. I wished they make a 3 outlet/1 USB as well.

Travel Size
Great travel size surge protector. The only thing I did not like was that the USB port seems to not give out enough power to charge my phone using a fast-charge USB cord.
