Q: Will this Dyson help me remove golden retriever hair from my sofa cushions?

A: It's ok. Works well for cat hair but I thought it would be a lot better then it is for the price. It also runs out of power very quickly

Q: Can you use Dyson's extension tube for reaching ceilings, or floors without bending down? (See attached photo of other Dyson extension.)

A: Yes, you can use the extension.

Q: Does this unit come with a docking station?

A: Mine did not. Just a plug in cord. Docking station isn’t necessary and just takes up space.

Q: 1) It says the battery life is 6- 20 minutes. Does the battery only last for 6 minutes when using it at the maximum setting? 2) A review said it had multiple filters that need constant cleaning. Do filters need to be cleaned after every use?

A: The battery lasts about 12 mins on ‘max’, that’s about the only downside. Love the hand vac otherwise. Filters do not need to be cleaned every use. I have a German Shepherd and clean the filters every week or so.

Q: Will the tangle free turbine tool attachment fit the V6 yellow/Iron vacuum and the V6 trigger hand held vacuum nickle/purple ? Also is this attachment recommended for pet hair? and does dyson make a motorized head that is head held?

A: Don't know about the attachment but it is excellent for pet hair.

Q: How many minutes does the battery last at full vacuuming power. How much suction does the vacuum have. For example can it pick up dog hair in a shag carpet? What is the warranty? And what is the service record? Finally how much does this machine weigh?

A: It picks up even cat hair which is barbed altho it takes some technique.

Q: I own a older Dyson. Have you changed the connection on this model or will I be able to use all my older attachments.

A: Our older attachments worked just fine.

Works well but battery is awful
Suction is great and it’s handy to have around the house... very lightweight and helpful. But the battery life is so short, and it takes so long to charge that it inhibits it’s usefulness. E.g. “That corner looks a little dusty, let me get the hand vac. Never mind , it’s not charged so I’ll do it in three hours. Forget it, I’ll just grab the broom.”

Very Happy!
I had another brand of hand held vacuum and wasn’t very happy with it. My kids have the battery operated vacuum with the long extension to allow them to vacuum their floors standing up. Loved the way it worked, so I decided to give this one a shot. Very pleased with the suction and ease of use. The only down side is when it is running the exhaust tends to hit you in the face if you’re holding it in a certain position. But everything else is great!

Great product!!!
I must start by saying that I had got mine when they had it on sale for about 180$ before taxes, but it's worth the full price very much so. It's simply the best vacuum for the size. Awesome product, portable, small size and very powerful, doesn't lose suction, easy to clean and you can use it anywhere you want.
