This is an amazing little device. I chose the 32 button XL because it seemed the best choice for the price. All the bottons are programable with lots of different apps. So far I use it with ecamm live and it’s great. I bought it for multiple uses. I have bottons programed to play intros, outros, transitions, and start other apps while live streaming. Switching between sources is just a botton away.

Game changer. Doubles workflow when using multiple apps and sites. With the addition of folders you can turn 32 into more functions than you can use. Websites, function, hotkeys all easy to use, so you can't get set up quickly. Had it for about a week and I keep adding and finding new ways to use Strem Deck.

I bought the Elgato Stream Deck for my son, and let me tell you—it’s become his ultimate sidekick for gaming and streaming! He uses it every single day. From customizing buttons to control his games and stream overlays to setting up shortcuts for programs, this thing does it all. What really impressed me is how much easier it’s made multitasking for him. With just a tap, he can switch scenes, play sound effects, or even launch other apps without missing a beat during gameplay. Although this does have some issues with the software I put on it. Its still a great purchase. I regret just not being able to get a bigger one. I'm able to control my smart home lights from it, switch my pc to screensaver. Which is pretty convient. I'm bit a extra so i added shortcuts to every discord I'm active in along with shortcuts for the Voice channels. Meaning with a single press of a button Im just able to move without even discord open on the screen. I can just continue to game. Along with being able to swwitch discord voice channels you have options to setup people your active alot with volumes. So if they get to low or too loud you can turn them up/down as you need. Having spotify controls and every playlist I own in a folder is so convient too, Espically with games where you have them fulscreen and it lags the pc for a second when you switch to something else on the screen.

I love this stream deck, it works well and is easy to set up. If you don’t like the color, you can purchase a cover for it online and it’s so fun!

I don’t stream or game. I’m an attorney and I am virtually 100% paperless. I wanted to find something that would save me time with getting my system up and running in the mornings, but MAINLY something to help me keep all my digital documents better labeled and organized for my client files. I have a specific file labeling system and need consistency across the board to be able to find any document any time. The stream deck helps me label a specific date format (one button), a specifically labeled body based on where document belongs in a file (one button). I also love the nested folder feature so you don’t run out of buttons. I like being able to customize the look of each button. I NEED to figure out how to make by date formats automatically change per date of button push, instead of having to manually configure the dates everyday. I’ve set up scripts to pull the current date from the computer (Mac), but I can’t seem to make the stream deck apply the script via hot key. Once I get this figured out, I will buy more for my staff. Overall, it’s easy to use and it’s beautiful. Just trying to figure out the script + hotkey functionality to make it perfect.

I purchased this with ONLY streaming in mind. It took a little bit of time playing with the program to learn how to use it but one i did i found that it is way more useful for a lot more things than simply streaming. I am still to this day adding new things to the many different layers of buttons that I've created to work for me

I use to feel streaming was taxing before I picked up the Stream Deck XL. After getting this and getting majority of what I use set up Ive not only enjoyed streaming but the other things I have been able to operate having this in my arsenal. Very easy to learn how to set up after doing it a time or two and the customization is amazing. Highly recommended.

The Stream Deck XL has been incredibly useful, not just for streaming, but for general computer use as well! I have it set up so that the default screen has buttons to open my most commonly used websites and programs, as well as folder categories for any other programs/websites I use. For example, on my default screen, I have buttons for Spotify, Zoom, Youtube, email, etc, and as well as a folder labelled "creation", which when I press it, gives access to Photoshop, Lightroom, FreeCad, etc. I have buttons to lock, restart, sleep, or power off the computer, as well as buttons that do multiple things using the "Multi Action" function, like a "work" button I can press to open slack, zoom, work email, etc. There are a bunch of really useful plugins for extra functionality, like muting certain applications, etc. Even if there isn't a plugin for the action you want, you can set up a button to type out a series of keys. Command line is also incredibly useful in creating custom actions. For example, I created a Multi Action button to shutdown the computer composed of the following sub actions: 1. Hotkey: "[windows key] + R" 2. Hotkey: "cmd.exe", with "press Enter after message" checked 3. Delay: 1000ms 4. Hotkey: "shutdown /s /t 0" You can absolutely use the Stream Deck without knowing command line, but learning even just a little will let you program the Stream Deck to do basically anything you want. Oh and I also use it for streaming, to change scenes in OBS or post announcements to twitter. Overall highly recommend, I was considering between this and the regular Stream Deck, and am really glad I got the XL, I easily use all the additional keys. I do also have the Stream Deck+ (with the dials), but as of right now, there aren't many available actions for the dials (even changing app volume isn't straight forward), so if you're choosing between the XL and the +, I would suggest the XL, at least until more dial actions are published.

I bought this to use in my music studio for use with Logic Pro and it works well. However I also this on my work PC now and it provides even more value. I am not a streamer. I mostly do operations and analytics and this lets me manipulate Excel quickly and run multiple commands with ease.

The "stream deck" is a product catered to the serious and casual streamers alike. high quality software to mach the hardware. Sleek and stylish product fit to blend in with most set ups.

I'm FT WFH and I have found the Stream Deck to be a great compliment to my conference calls. There are plug-ins for many conferencing software products as well as simple command shortcuts. If you do not want the larger XL footprint, please know that the Stream Deck has paging so you can have multiple pages of buttons. On my personal laptop, I use the Stream Deck as a tool for easy navigation of Lightroom functions for photo editing. I'm loving the Stream Deck!

Amazing I stream on Twitch with multiple monitors and this makes it a cinch. I can switch between scenes seamlessly without alt tabbing! Amazing tool and very easy setup!

I use the Stream Deck just to simplify things like opening apps, turning on lights, hiding windows, closing apps, and typing. I say it's lot more than 32 keys because you can create a folder which opens up another 32 keys to program. So for typing I created a folder of buttons. One button types in my name and address, another types in my phone number, others to type in my email addresses. This makes it easier to type in things that you type often. If you run out of keys, you can create a subfolder with more keys. You can create keys to open frequently visited web sites. This allows you to go to those sites without having to use the keyboard, mouse or trackpad. Pay bills online? Create a folder of keys to go to the sites you go to to pay your bills.

I went gaga over this thing when I first heard about it. To make a long story short...BUY THIS THING! I've done podcasting for about 20 years now and this deck has brought a new level to every show. Versatility? Holy shmokes! I can't say enough...actually I could but I won't. Try it! You will like it...you will love it!

Amazing device the XL makes for endless triggering possibilities. Glad we went for the biggest model as filling up the buttons and banks happened quickly. Nice sturdy and solid feel. New source apps are constantly being updated. Perfect option for youtube or fb live streaming. OBS and XSplit compatible although xsplit updates have caused glitches and frustration because buttons would randomly not trigger or mess up. Had to re edit the buttons on each xsplit update. But I dont think this is a Stream Deck problem. But more of an xsplit software issue. Overall a great device. Once its set up, pretty much works.

Sure all the streamers love this, but I'm not a streamer, and I absolutely love it! I'm a big fan of macros, and this takes things to a new level. It's a great productivity tool; you can program text, open files, open websites, open specific apps (or a combination of apps), and, my favorite: move and resize windows. I use three monitors, and with the Streamdeck, I can quickly move an app to the main view and then just as quickly put it back over to another screen. We all spend a ton of time resizing windows, and this makes it quick and easy. I started with the smaller one and quickly updated to this one.

I upgraded to this from the Stream Deck MK.2 as this has 32 buttons instead of 15. Their software is awesome and easily allowed me to move my existing commands from the old device to the new one.

Endless Possibilities What can you do with those 32 buttons? Well, almost anything! Here are some ideas: Chat Commands: Respond to viewers instantly. Scene Switching: Seamlessly transition between scenes. Sound Effects: Cue applause, laughter, or dramatic music. Social Media Sharing: Tweet, post, or go live with a single tap. Macro Magic: Execute complex tasks with a single button press. In general this is a piece of tech that every content creator must have

Amazing product with amazing versatility. I use two of these guys next to each other, one to switch profiles, and one to make actions. Endless list in terms of possible actions. Interact with OBS, send hotkeys, run PowerShell scripts, play sounds, open applications, etc. You can chain any of these actions together with a single press. And on top of all of that there is a section for 3rd party plugins made by other people. The 15-key smaller option always has me wishing I had more buttons whenever I use it. Especially if you're just going for one of these you should get the XL.
