Can this device be used with the iPhone 8 XR

This power bank's magnetic (MagSafe) charging doesn't work with the iPhone 8 or XR because those models don't have the internal metal ring that Apple introduced starting with the iPhone 12. That ring is what lets the charger snap into place and align automatically with the magnets, without it, the power bank won't attach or line up correctly on the back of the phone. In other words, the main "snap and charge" feature (the MagSafe effect) won't work on these two models. For these phones, the best option is to charge using a USB cable (USB-C or Lightning), it's the most reliable and secure way to charge. It is also possible to charge wirelessly, but in a more manual way: you place the phone on top of the charging area and need to carefully center it over the coil yourself, since it won't snap into place with the magnet. It works, but requires more attention to positioning, not the "snap and done" experience MagSafe offers.
