Q: What is the contrast ratio for this Epson projector?

A: This Epson projector has a dynamic contrast ratio up to 16,000:1.

Q: Can I connect a gaming console to this projector?

A: Yes, you can connect a gaming console to this projector via its HDMI input.

Q: What is the resolution of this Epson projector?

A: This Epson projector has a resolution of 1080p.

Q: What is the lamp life of this projector?

A: The UHE 210W lamp delivers up to 10,000 hours of lamp life in ECO mode and up to 6,000 hours in normal mode.

Q: How bright is this projector?

A: This projector offers 3,400 lumens of color & white brightness.

Q: Does this projector have a built-in speaker?

A: Yes, this projector has a built-in speaker for audio output.

Q: Can you control or set the diagonal width of the image being projected (screen image)? Example, if the projector is 20ft away from the screen/wall, is it possible to have image 85in-95in wide?

A: The actual answer to this question is no. For a projector that is 20 feet away from the screen you would have to have a minimum 180 inch screen. Inversely, if you have an 85 inch diagonal screen you have to mount the projector no further then 7 feet away. The description is misleading because it seemed to indicate that it was compatible from any distance on any size screen. Which is not true now I have to remount the projector in to the middle of the room.

Q: Can you connect a chrome cast to the projector in the HDMI port and run it from your phone?

A: Hello MechanicsGirl. When you connect an HDMI device to the Home Cinema 1080, it will project the broadcast information from that device. For example, if you can connect your phone to a Chromecast device and watch it on a TV via HDMI, then it should also work the same on our Epson Projector. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
