I have a lot of papers I tend to hoard over the years, and they are just taking up unnecessary space. So I decided to purchase this scanner and give it a try. PRO: -Easy installation/set-up -Gets the job done, scans just fine -Bang for your buck -Very light -Takes very little space -Comes with a bag for it to take with you on the go CON: -After scanning about 50 pages, I had to restart because it froze. It is on the cheaper end for a scanner, so I can't complain. -It was fast enough, but if you grew up to technology like I did (used computers since Kindergarten) and do not have patience, then I would suggest investing in a quicker scanner. -Must flip the page yourself to scan the back side. -Sometimes you have to watch the paper as it goes and adjust or hold it because it can go a little to the side.

This guy comes with a felt bag to store it and it is incredibly thin and doesn’t weight at all. I️ am travel g and working and this is such a great tool. I️ have a MacBook Pro and it’s compatible and very easy straight forward download from epson and the quality on the images is great and you can even adjust depending on the document if you want something more clear. This was a great buy, I️ got it on sale and I️ do not regret it!

Nice small scanner, which sends crisp images, color and B&W, and sits unobtrusively on the desk. Only negative -- and this may be unfair -- is that it doesn't allow automatic feeding of multiple sheets; for a multi-page document, you have to tell the computer after each sheet that you want to scan another. But this little machine does the job quickly and cleanly.

It's actually for my wife who does genealogy and needed a scanner to scan genealogy records into her tree. I did some online searches to see which one would work best. I must have looked at 6 or more and I made sure to look at several brands. We knew it would have to be small and would not have electricity. It is perfect for what she needs and it has a small bag that holds it and she's very happy with the choice. Especially since it was on sale and I had earned some credit with Best Buy that we could apply and by the time we were finished she thought Santa had come.,

The scanner on printer is too slow and cumbersome. This gadget provides portability and speed for light office use and general office organization. I still think products like these are over-priced and should be around $50-$60 range, but it does what it claims to do. If portability is important, this is a product that should be considered. Otherwise, it would be decent investment to buy the more capable and higher priced desk scanner.

I wanted something to scan and store receipts more easily for income tax and records purposes. This is small, lightweight, and scans pretty well. It doesn't have the software capabilities I'd hoped for - but it does it's job - it scans.

I like this scanner a lot. It is cheaper than other similar scanners. The only problem I have is that some times the paper does not feed through exactly straight and I have to re-scan the paper so it does not come out crooked. Other than that it is a great portable scanner and I am happy with my purchase.

couldn't be easier to use, scan resolution could be better but for the price, it's all I needed. Used to scan mostly documents ....small, portable, fast and lightweight ... plugged it into my laptop, did the scans, unplugged it put it away ... for someone who has limited space for a scanner ... has a bunch of other functions that I never tried :-) Self installing software would have been great :-(

The size of the scanner was first on the list - price was second. traveling a lot - I needed a scanner for travel receipts what wouldn't take up a lot of room in the back pack. All you need is a USB cord and you are ready to go - I can even do it sitting in the airport waiting on the plane. Comes with a nice travel sock.

I use this scanner for on the go when I am not in the office. It gets the job done, but it takes a very long time because you have to scan one page at a time. I scan a large set of documents at a time so it is not the ideal scanner. It would be a great scanner if you only needed to scan one thing at a time. It does scan pretty clearly, but sometimes the pages can scan in a little crooked. The scanning software is pretty self-explanatory and scans with the touch of a button, but was a little confusing when you scan in more than more page.

Bought this a couple of days ago to process receipts for expense reports. It does exactly what it says it will. It has handled receipts of all sizes without problem and provides a great image (I've only saved in pdf and jpg formats as of yet). The software was a bit buggy to start, but cleared up after I restarted my PC - there was no prompt or anything stating that the PC needed to be restarted after the installation was complete. Aside from that, the software is very intuitive and simple to use. The scan time, so far, has been very quick (I have it set at max resolution) regardless of the physical size of the document being scanned. 8 in by 11.5 in papers scanned in under 5 seconds, and smaller items (Parking and gas receipts) were faster. The bag has a separate pocket for the cable so it doesn't catch on the scanner when you're packing it away. Its small form is convenient for packing it in with the rest of your gear in your computer bag/backpack. Overall, if you're looking for a convenient portable scanner, this will work great, and at this price, you really can't go wrong.
