A veteran of V-Moda Faders (also very effective, wonky getting them into and out of their carrying case), once the cord holding my Faders broke I decided to try the Etymotics as an alternative/backup and have found these to be lighter, easier to keep clean (less likely to gather ear wax) and equally frustrating to attempt to keep in their provided carrying case. The stock model fits my ears very well so I do not need to step up to more expensive models with more ear sizing options

As a musician and a music fan, hearing protection is a necessity for me. If you're going to rock concerts with no earplugs, chances are you're jeopardizing your hearing. These earplugs are a great solution, definitely a step above the cheapie disposables you get at the drugstore. They retain most of the character of the original sound, mostly attenuating volume without completely muffling everything.

My company frequently throws concerts but the volume is very loud. These earplugs are great at suppression and the case is handy too.

I decided to buy this after reading earlier reviews and looks like it works for me...

Bought these ear plugs instead of a more expensive set because they have the connecting string that helps you not lose them. Seem to work well. Only complaint is that I received a size large, but wasn't given a choice of size when purchasing online. Luckily, the large seems to fit my son so we are keeping them.

They block out the sound without making everything muffled. It is like turning down the volume on life.

I've typically spent gobs of money purchasing cheap, throw away ear plugs before shows and always left with my ears ringing. These save me money and work so well!

Does what they claim: attenuate sounds in a way that lets you still hear the highs.

I havent really tried these out in a really loud enviroment yet but i tried them out in my home theater room and they seam to work as advertised.

My wife has sensitive ears, but we love to go to concerts when we date. As boomers, we especially enjoy classic rock concerts by bands from the 70's & 80's. She used these at a recent Journey concert. She was able to hear the music comfortably & could still hear well after the concert.

I initially bought these ear attenuation plugs to allow me to withstand the very loud worship team music at church. I found them excellent to allow me to withstand the excessive 110 db volume. I also use them when working with loud machinery at home.

Have to admit that I was skeptical, but after a friend recommended these I bought and was blown away. Really does preserve sound quality with a notable reduction in volume (tested repeatedly at a large scale electronic show).

Easy to order on line and it arrived at the store for pickup earlier than estimated! Only con is it didn't specify that it was a large size, but they worked okay.

Bought these earplugs to buy for a rave. Work well and help drown the sound out to protect your ears. Works for about anything

These were not advertised in multiple sizes. When I received the product, the container stated they were “Large,” compared to “Regular.” The large were much to big.

Used the earplugs at Slayer, distortion of lyrics was minimized. Will be buying these for gifts.

Did not work as expected.. I wanted to use to sleep better at night without hearing snoring next to me.

Could not really test these hi fidelity ear plugs. Was sent a size large. Was not able to pick a size when ordering. Ended up returning.
