Q: How does EVGA compare to other brands like MSI?
A: Evga has the best customer support. I only once had one of their GPUs die on me and that was after abusing it for 2 years. I sent it in and since they didnt make my GPU anymore, they sent me a brand new one that was 3 times better ! Just make sure if you buy a EVGA GPU , to register it online.
A: Faster than any answer that’s of any help, and even once they are stocked they will be gone before your little finger can hit add to cart.
Q: What is the metal bracket for in the final picture? Where exactly are you supposed to install it?
A: It's a mounting bracket. These cards are heavy and some people don't like all that weight on the PCI slot. The bracket may or may not work with your particular case. If not, and you want something besides the PCI slot and a single screw holding your card in place, you can get a graphics card brace mounted vertically that uses tension between the top and bottom of your case to stay in place. Looks kinda like a stripper pole in your case. :D
