Great for street photography good AND portraits
Great small light lens for a full frame. Definitely great for street photography but even with portraits it’s tack sharp and produces great colors. Great auto focus. I keep this one in my bag all of the time.

Best focal length
Perfect balance between 35mm and 50mm. You can compose wide photos for street photography kinda close to what you could do with a 35mm lens and allso use it as a portrait lens like a 50mm. Paired it with my A7Cii, which is the best everyday carry camera. The lens is sharp, very versatile and very lightweight considering it has a focus ring, aperture ring which you could turn on and off the click mechanism, autofocus and manual focus switch and a custom button. It packs a lot of feature in a very small package and great value for the price.

Great lens
Crisp images with a smooth focus for recording video. Good for wider street shots that you can easily crop down cleanly later
