This 14x20x1 Allergen Defense filter in Filtrete’s 1000 MPR (MERV 11) tier uses electrostatically charged polypropylene media with 3‑in‑1 technology to help capture countless microparticles—such as pet dander, smoke and smog—while also trapping larger particles like lint, household dust, pollen, mold spores and dust‑mite debris, providing a noticeable upgrade over fiberglass or basic pleated filters while maintaining good airflow when changed every three months.
