About this product
The FortiAP 234G is an enterprise Wi-Fi 6E access point. It uses a tri-radio 2x2 MU-MIMO design (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz or a second 5 GHz band) to deliver up to 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, 1.201 Gbps on 5 GHz and 2.401 Gbps on 6 GHz. It connects with 1x 2.5 GbE RJ45 port and 1x GbE RJ45 port and adds an integrated BLE radio and GPS. It is designed for outdoor use with an IP67 rating and a -40 to 140 F operating range, and it ships with wall and pole brackets plus a 60W PoE injector. FortiAP access points are managed centrally from the integrated wireless controller in any FortiGate or from FortiEdge Cloud, so wired and wireless security policy lives in one place. WPA3 and WPA2-Enterprise encryption, rogue AP detection and WIDS/WIPS protect the wireless network, and the access point is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
