About this product
Inspired by the energy and ideas of old school techno and the freedom and edge of the more recent hip hop from the likes of Madlib and MF Doom, Kieran Hebden set out to make a record really fast that would retain all the energy and enthusiasm he was feeling and that wouldn't sound like anyone else; wouldn't even sound like himself. Two months later, he came out of his flat with EVERYTHING ECSTATIC, a record he right described as being InchchargedInch. EVERYTHING ECSTATIC, 4th album from Kieran Hebden in his Four Tet guise is as demented, clever and downright enjoyable. Album Tracks 1. A Joy 2. Smile Around the Face 3. Fuji Check 4. Sun Drums and Soil 5. Clouding 6. And Then Patterns 7. High Fives 8. Turtle Turtle Up 9. Sleep, Eat Food, Have Visions 10. You Were There with Me

Teeb's first full-length, 2010's ARDOUR, was an effort that came together in the midst of personal turmoil and the death of his father. In contrast, ESTARA was created during a period of relative calm; more importantly, the LP encapsulates a time when Teebs - who continues to work steadily as both a producer and a painter - has been making art entirely on his own terms. That freedom has not only strengthened his creative voice, but has also enabled him to craft some of the finest work of his career. ESTARA contains plenty of the breezy melodies, rustling rhythms, gauzy atmospherics, and loose ties to hip-hop that have always been present in Teebs' music, but the LP also finds those elements coming together in a bolder, more cohesive fashion than ever before. Album Tracks 1. Endless 2. View Point 3. Holiday 4. Shoouss Lullaby 5. Sotm 6. Hi Hat 7. NY, Pt. 1 8. Piano Days 9. Piano Months 10. NY, Pt. 2 11. Mondaze 12. Wavxxes
