If you need a garbage disposal; This 1/2 horsepower disposal is strong enough for most normal household uses. Sleek look and quite motor provide plenty of power & OH!? BestBuy also offers installation if you don't feel like getting your hands dirty through Geeksquad installation.!

While the operation is not entirely quiet, it is significantly quieter than my previous garbage disposer. Sometimes it makes you wonder if it actually working or if it may be stuck because of how quiet it is compared to others. One issue that I have with it though is that the rubber cover inside of the entrance is too tight and doesn't let all the water pass as quickly as needed so sometimes water accumulates on top making you think it is stuck. Nevertheless, I just put my finger on the rubber and press a little to make the entrance slightly bigger and the water passes through immediately. It's a great disposer, you most likely will be happy with it.

I chose to purchase the Frigidaire product because of the brand reputation, and value. The cost is less than other major brands, but they also have the reputation of producing a long lasting quality product. I ESPECIALLY like how remarkably quiet this is when running. One time, there was a cup that had broken and a small chard had fallen in, and got lodged at just the right spot and tripped the breaker. I got the piece out and 'unstuck' the unit, and after reset, it picked up right where it left off. still quiet, still fast, still powerful, and looks great under than sink. I highly recommend it.

We previously purchased a Badger that lasted us only 1.5 years. That was barely using it, only washing minor stuff off in sink. We have only had this one about 3 months, but so far so good. I love the design and color compared to the Grey/Black Badger we had. It is quiet and works great! Best part was how easy this was to install. My husband took over 4 hours to install the Badger and this was installed in about 40 minutes. Of course, I can't speak upon how long it will last because I have only had for 3 months, but the reviews are why I purchased this item and so far, everything has been true.

As my wife & I were preparing our Thanksgiving feast for our family, our food disposer went out. So we got up the next day, braved the Black Friday crowds to purchase a new food dispenser of all things. This unit is easy to install, exceptionally quiet & efficient & we love the upgrade from our old one. It's also superbly built & has a very sleek look underneath our sink. We absolutely love this new unit!

My old In-Sink-Erator gave up the ghost after 30+ years of faithful service. I read the reviews of this Frigidaire and thought it looked like a good model. One of the Geek Squad guys gave it a thumb's up when I picked up the unit in the store as well. I got it installed along with a new faucet and I love it. It's quieter than my old one was and it seems to be very efficient. I guess I didn't realize how much my old one had been degrading before the motor finally seized. So far this little disposal is working like a champ, and its small footprint takes up less room under the sink.

I am just a computer programmer, very limited "handy" skills, my main tool is using my phone to call a professional if anything needs to be done. Friends convinced me to try installing this disposal myself when I complained that plumbers were asking $160 on up for doing it. So as skeptical as I was about my ability, I first watched some youtube videos and then decided to give it a try. I'm sure it took a lot longer than most would have spent (3 hours to remove old and install new), it wasn't too bad of a job to do and because this unit has the power cord already installed, that was a nice bonus. The unit is working great, it's quiet, doesn't vibrate, and I would recommend this to anyone.

The packaging was generic looking so I kept walking past it! The lady in the store swore they were online only... even though it was available for pick up the same day. Glad I did a double take, it has been a great disposal! It was very easy to install and as a 1st time homeowner I need to cut out cost were I can. Picked up some plumber's putty and was done in 30 minutes! It's so quiet but strong. I also love the Frigidaire brand!

This disposal was easy to install and fit perfectly under the sink. Works great and is not loud. Recommend highly.

I bought this to replace the Badger (which started to leak) that came with my home that I purchased new ten years ago. The Frigidaire was reasonably priced and the installation instructions was fairly straightforward. I've been using it for around 2 months now - the machine seems to work great and the operating noise sounds sligtly quieter. I hope that it also lasts at least 10 years.

We lived with a failing garbage disposal for almost a year, after a plumber recommended we not replace it - because "nobody uses those anyway" - but we absolutely use ours. Rather than call another plumber, I googled replacement instructions and decided to try it myself. Confounded by the number of options online, I headed to the local Best Buy and asked one of the employees for help. They only had this one in-store, but he assured me that the HP would be sufficient for our needs, and the price was much less than I expected to pay from the online research. I was pleasantly surprised that the in-box instructions were clear, simple, and short. I removed our old unit and had this new, smaller, quieter, unit installed in under 20 minutes (including cleaning out under the sink.)

Doing a major renovation. We have two sinks and two of these. Plumber really liked the quality, it's quiet; but, it does and will slow down the drainage flow. I was glad he told us that in advance.

Good Disposer. I mean what can you say about a disposer? It runs great, is quieter and more powerful than the old one it replaced, and, if it lasts as long as the old one did (14 years) I won’t have any complaints.

I am enjoying this product it works just like it said on the box. It was easy to install on to my kitchen sink. It fit just perfect to my pipes and attachments. The only problem we have with the product it that it does take a little bit for the sink to drain if not using the garbage disposal part at the time.

I had my doubts about installing this on my own. Zero experience. It was easy! You'll need a flat head and a screwdriver. Helpful to have a wrench. Super quiet. Looks nice. Get it!

Easy to install and works great. I've had this product in my kitchen for a year and no problems with it.

Our disposal bit the dust and flooded the kitchen. Was able to buy this and quickly install. Fairly quiet and powerful. I like that it has plastic housing versus metal that can rust.
