    • Drying Method: Heated drying (Appliances that use heat to dry the dishes will include a heating element or minerals which transform moisture into heat. A fan or vent then circulates the hot dry air throughout the tub during the drying cycle. This may reduce drying time and the risk of water spots. Appliances that use minerals to produce heat are considered more energy efficient than those that include a heating element. Appliances that use condensation drying are considered more energy efficient than those that use heated drying. Instead, high temperature water is produced during the final rinse cycle which warms the interior and eventually condensates and drains out of the machine.)

Q: Does this unit really have only one rack as stated in the info.

A: This unit most definitely has two racks. Top rack for glasses is smaller and doesn't hold some of our taller glasses.

Q: Do the hoses and hook-ups come with it or must they be purchased separately? Thank you!

A: Yes all the connections are there plus electric cord.

Q: what does the top look like, my mom's had a "butcher block" look

A: Hello 12345! The top of this dishwasher FFPD1821MB is made out of a press board style material with a color matching laminate top. We hope that this is helpful information. –Thanks!-

Q: What type of faucets are compatable with the hose hook-up?

A: Thanks for your response! -Thanks!-

Q: Can you cut vegetables, etc. on the top? I have an older model that I use as a cutting surface and I need that due to my small counter space.

A: Great question! We would not recommend cutting on the top directly; However, you would be able to use it as extra counter space and use a cutting board. Hope this helps! -Jennifer

Q: How long is the power cord Thanks

A: Hello Di2016! The power cord on the dishwasher FFPD1821MW will be around five feet long. We hope this information is helpful to you. –Thanks!-
