To open the door, simply press on the upper right area of the microwave door, and it will release. This is normal operation and part of the unit’s built-in, streamlined design. Are there any other suitable locations for the electrical junction box to be located other than in the upper cabinet? My current installation has the box located in the rear wall cavity located 28" up off opening floor and 20" from right side.
