Questions & Answers
Hello, how many decibals is it. How loud is it? I need to sleep next to it
Answered by FrigidaireSupportHi there! Thank you for checking with us. The Frigidaire model FHDD3534Y1 produces between 48 to 51 decibels, depending on your fan setting. This volume is very quiet. It is softer than a standard home refrigerator. It makes a steady, "white noise" sound. Many people find this level of noise helps them sleep. - Patrick
The description for this item says it can remove up to 22 pints a day. Is that a typo since this is a 35 pint unit?
Answered by FrigidaireSupportHi DSTXman0, thank you for your question. The FHDD3534Y1 is a 35-pint dehumidifier based on its maximum rated capacity under standard test conditions. The “up to 22 pints per day” figure reflects expected real-world performance under DOE testing conditions, which can differ from ideal laboratory ratings, so both values are correct but refer to different testing standards. — Reed
Does this dehumidifier notify you when the water tank is full?
Answered by FrigidaireSupportHello Coachtim30, according to the Frigidaire manual for the Frigidaire 35 Pint Smart Dehumidifier (6.8 qt bucket capacity), the unit includes a “bucket full” indicator and automatic shut-off feature. When the water tank is full: - The dehumidifier automatically stops running, and - A full bucket indicator light alerts you that the tank needs to be emptied. Yes, it notifies you with a full bucket indicator and automatically shuts off when the water tank is full. - Maico
