Q: What type of lighting does the refrigerator use?
A: This refrigerator uses interior LED lighting.
Q: Does this refrigerator have an ice maker?
A: Yes, this refrigerator has an ice maker.
A: Hi Steve! No, Frigidaire’s 4‑Door French Door models—such as those with smudge‑resistant stainless finishes—do not offer zero‑clearance door hinges. These are standard-depth, freestanding units, not designed for flush wall-to-door edge installations. - The Frigidaire 4‑Door French Door Refrigerator is not a zero‑clearance model. - If you need doors that open flush to the side or against cabinetry without extra clearance, your best bet is models like LG’s Counter‑Depth MAX with Zero Clearance. - Alternatively, some built‑in or European-style brands (Sub‑Zero, Fisher & Paykel, Liebherr) offer hinge designs that minimize door swing, but they may come at a higher price and differ in configuration.
Q: Is the middle drawer a freezer drawer
A: Hi there, Davey! Yes, the middle drawer of the Frigidaire FRMS2733AV 26 Cu. Ft. Standard-Depth 4-Door French Door Refrigerator is a convertible compartment known as the Custom-Flex® Temp Drawer. This versatile drawer can function as either a refrigerator or a freezer, offering five temperature settings: Freeze: Matches the temperature of the main freezer. Soft Freeze: Approximately 23°F (-5°C), suitable for items like ice cream. Meat/Fish: Around 30°F (-1°C), ideal for short-term storage of meats and seafood. Fruit/Veggies: Approximately 36°F (2°C), perfect for produce. Beverage: Around 39°F (4°C), designed for drinks. This flexibility allows you to store a variety of items based on your needs. However, it's important to note that while the Soft Freeze and Freeze settings can store frozen items, they are not suitable for long-term storage. For extended freezing, it's recommended to use the main freezer compartment, which maintains a consistent 0°F (-18°C). - Maico
A: Hi valued consumer! Here are the most common reasons your Frigidaire 4-Door French Door refrigerator won’t dispense ice, even when the Ice light is on and the door switch is pressed, and how to fix them: Step-by-Step Troubleshooting 1. Make sure the ice maker actually has ice - Open the ice bin and confirm that it contains ice cubes. If the bin is empty, the dispenser will do nothing. If it’s empty: - Make sure the ice maker is turned ON (there’s usually a toggle or button inside the ice compartment). - Allow up to 24 hours for it to produce a full bin after being turned on or after a defrost. 2. Check the Ice Bin Position - The ice bin must be fully seated or the auger won’t spin. Remove & reseat: - Pull the bin out. - Dump any clumped ice. - Reinsert it firmly until it clicks in place. 3. Inspect for Ice Blockages - Clumped ice in the chute or auger causes no dispensing. Do this: - Look inside the chute for frozen blockage. - If chunks are stuck, break them up. - If everything looks frozen together, remove the bin and let it thaw for 10–15 minutes. 4. Verify the Dispenser Lock - Many Frigidaire models have a Control Lock that disables the dispenser. - Look for a LOCK icon or a padlock symbol on the control panel. If locked: - Press & hold the LOCK button for 3 seconds to toggle it off. 5. Check the Dispenser Paddle Switch - You said pressing the door switch with a bowl does nothing, which suggests the paddle switch might not be registering. Try: - Pressing the actual dispenser paddle with your hand. - Pressing harder/firmer. - Listening for any motor sound (whirring). If there's no sound at all, the switch may be: - Frozen inside the mechanism - Not engaging - Failed electrically 6. Check Water Filter Status - Some Frigidaire models disable ice/water dispensing when the filter is: - Incorrect - Not fully seated - Expired (warning light) Try: - Removing and reseating the filter OR Installing a new Frigidaire PureSource Ultra / Ultra II filter (depending on your model) 7. Test if Water Dispenses - This helps identify if the control board or door wiring is the issue. If water also does NOT dispense, the problem is likely: - Dispenser lock - Door wiring - Control board If water works but ice doesn’t, the issue is: - Ice bin - Frozen auger - Ice maker motor 8. Check if the Auger Motor Runs - Open the freezer door and press the dispenser paddle. If the fridge is working correctly, you should hear: - A motor hum - Auger is attempting to spin - (Even though the door is open, many models have a hidden door switch you can press with your hand.) Note: If there’s no sound, the auger motor may be iced over or have failed. If nothing happens at all (no click, no hum): This points to one of these: - Dispenser lock ON - Faulty ice dispenser switch - Faulty door switch - Wiring harness in the door is damaged (common on French door models) - Control board issue - Maico

We've only had the fridge for a little under a month at the time of this writing. So far we are pleased with how it has worked for us. We have ample space to store everything we want to store. The water and ice maker work fantastic, the layout of the fridge is very functional. I hope it lasts as long as my last frigidaire fridge, time will tell.
