Q: Hi. Does this unit have any sound insulation? Thanks.
A: I don't know if it is a different internal design or gearing system but it is much quieter than the recently-dead unit it replaced.
Q: Are any modifications necessary if replacing an Insinkerator disposal with this unit?
A: If it not exactly the same size and have the openings as your departing unit, you will need a plumber to do your installation. Best Buy installers advised of this and we did so - best advice we've ever gotten from Best Buy and it made up happy customers.

A: Hi Suat. I installed it and the power outlet was under the sink. Here in the USA our standard for homes is 110V AC. Hope that information helps.
