To further protect the body, I also purchased a fitted leather half cover. Not only does it add a welcomed layer of protection against bumps and improve the overall grip, but it also perfectly elevates the camera's timeless retro charm. Final Verdict Receiving the Fujifilm X-E5 as a graduation gift was the perfect way to kickstart a new creative journey. A little known fact is that the models sold in the USA are Made in Japan and have a better fit and finish than the international ones, this adds to the exclusivity of buying one here.

Excellent quality camera! The new 23mm pancake kit lens can’t be beat. Our kids love the selfie screen. Skipping the post-processing and playing with the programmed film simulations is so much fun. If you’re thinking about upgrading or joining the fujifilm world, the XE-5 is a compact, retro-looking, and versatile workhorse for everyday life.

Love my Fujifilm camera. Still getting used to it and learning how to use it but there are great YouTube tutorials. Also great guides on what accessories to buy to make it easier to use and take care of. Keep in mind it doesn’t come with a way to charge the battery.
