Q: Does it record audio from inside my vehicle
A: Yes it does
A: I would say it is just OK at capturing plate numbers. I have it set to the highest res and you still need to get pretty close to be able to discern the numbers.
Q: Why does the Garmin 47 fit the VW id.4 but the Garmin 57 does not?
A: Both the Dash Cam 47 and 57 have the same style mounts and are able to be installed in nearly any vehicle.
