Q: Is there a setting for the height of the vehicle?
A: You plug in the ht. of your vehicle, also the width, and length.
A: The RV 760LMT can access upcoming fueling stations using the Up Ahead feature. When in an active route the Up Ahead feature will show results based on that current route. When not in an active route, and driving on a highway, the Up Ahead feature will search near upcoming exits. To access Up Ahead, you would press the map tools button on the map view screen. From here, there is a button for Up Ahead. This feature cannot be accessed using voice activation.
Q: Is the RV 760LMT 7" useable in a car or is this unit for RV use only?
A: It can be used in a car or an RV... you select which mode you want.
A: The RV 760LMT does not take propane-restricted routes into account. As part of the RV profile on the device, you are able to set the height, length, width, overall length, and gross weight. You can also set audible cautions and advisories such as steep hills, tree overhangs, narrow roads, and sharp curves.
Q: Does RV760LMT have altitude reading and landmark directions
A: If you desire, the unit will display your current altitude all the time. The trade off is that only one thing can be displayed in this particular box at a time. For instance, if you want the current time to be displayed all the time, you would have to select the box, then scroll down and pick current time from the menu. Altitude would go away and current time would replace it. There are about ten different things that can be displayed in this box. If you want to keep your current altitude showing but just want to check your current time, for instance, just select the box, scroll down to current time. The current time will be shown, just don't select it. Hit the return button and your altitude will be there.
Q: In-dash mountable on towing car
A: The device can be used with a window mount or a dash mount. If you want it installed directly into the mount on your truck, you would need to talk to an installer. The device is not made for that though.
Q: audio
A: The RV 760LMT does not have an audio output for this type of functionality. Bluetooth can play over the speaker of the Garmin from your phone. ~JH
Q: Does it allow for towing a trailer?
A: The RV 760LMT does not support trailer limitations. Currently, the dezl 760LMT and dezl 560LMT are the only Garmin models that allow for trailer limitations. On the RV 760LMT, the RV profile is based on width, height, overall length, and the gross weight of your RV.
