A: Hello, and thanks for your interest in these top-freezer refrigerators! These models use a refrigerant known as R-600a, a natural gas. R-600a is an environmentally-friendly refrigerant approved by the EPA and is also know as isobutane. It is non-toxic but is flammable. Care should be taken to avoid damage to the refrigerant tubing and service should only be performed by authorized personnel. Beautiful Black GE Refrigerator
Beautiful black GE Refrigerator. Lots os Spacious bins on door and large drawers. Two adjustable wire shelves. Freezer is large and lots of room. Very happy with the delivery, Installation and removal.

Loud noise?
It's been four months and almost no issues. The one issue happens to be a killer. It makes a loud sound on and off, apparently while just running. Never had a fridge do this. It's manageable during the day, but I'm getting to the point of unplugging it at night, so I can sleep. Hopefully it can handle being unplugged at night.
