Q: What is the length and location of of the power cord?
A: The power cord is about 5 feet long. The cord is located at the back of the unit in a lower right corner. I had no issues with the cord.

Place the freezer where the surrounding external temperatures will not exceed 110 degrees F. or fall below 0 degrees F. Position the freezer in a dry, well ventilated room. Freezers typically draw extra current during start up (approx. 2x to 3x). The freezer should be on a dedicated circuit.
