Great little air conditioner that comes with heating capability. I mainly bought this for winter heating, because I have electric baseboard heating which is the most expensive way to heat a living space. The cooling part works well, and is pretty quiet. I usually run it at the lowest fan setting, and the noise is pretty low. It is not as quiet as a U shaped AC, where the compressor is outside the window, but it is significantly quieter than my old through the wall air conditioner. GE has a smart app that this AC connects to via Wifi, and one can control all aspects of the AC via the app. One can also see the energy consumption of the unit in real time in Watts, and cumulative energy consumption for the day in kWhr units. The order placement was smooth with Best Buy, although the item did take almost two weeks to arrive. I am not sure the reason behind the delay, perhaps it is an item that is not a high volume item. The AC might seem to be on the expensive side, but it is actually not because of the heat pump feature, and the fact that the unit can heat down to outside temperatures of 5 F. There is no other unit in the market that is available to end users right now that has this feature. I will have to wait for the winter season to see how the heating feature of this unit works. All in all I recommend this unique AC/heat pump unit.

This has been a great unit for our studio over our garage. I’m in South Carolina and it kept it nice and cool over the summer. This winter it froze up a few times at night when the temps were in the 20’s. But that was expected as it did advertise that it would. We rarely get that cold so we took a gamble. Other than that this unit has been great!

Great air conditioner makes noise when cycling down but this only happens 3 or 4 times a day and lasts for less than a minute cools a 500 square foot kitchen and living room combo for a mobile home with thin walls in full sun very well i am pleased with this unit would buy again.
