Q: Is this electric dryer 120volt?
A: No, it is 220 with the special plug. Most dryers are 220.
A: A steam cap is not included with the dryer. The steam cap is only needed if using the Steam option.
A: We recommend using wool dryer balls to help prevent clumping or tangling. This is a large dryer with 7.8 cubic ft. It can hold a king size comforter.
Q: Do I have to use the steam dryer function which requires a water source?
A: To produce steam, the dryer must connect to the cold water supply. Since the washer must also connect to the cold water, a “Y” connector is inserted to allow both inlet hoses to make that connection at the same time. -Don@GEAppliances
Q: How much clearance is needed between back of dryer and wall?
A: When the exhaust duct is located at the rear of the dryer, you may need 4-6 inches behind the dryer for ventilation. This model doesn't have any restrictions. 0 inches at the top, front, sides and rear. (For improved performance, a 1/2” clearance is suggested on each side.) Thanks for checking with us. Q: Does this set come with a stacking kit?
A: The stacking kit is not included with the dryer, and will need to be purchased separately. The stacking kit that's required for this unit is GFA28KITN.
Q: Is this really a 120-Volt Dryer? The specs say it is, but I want to make sure. Thanks!
A: 220! GE does make a 120v all in one unit which I attempted to buy but it couldn’t be bright up my tight staircase. But this dryer requires 220v!

Happy i didn't let intimidation stop me from buyin
It sings to you!! This washer dryer set is so nice and the sounds are not annoying they are fun! It's pet straight forward to operate as well. The one thing i suggest is keeping a dry towel around to wipe out the inside of the door and seal after you are done washer for the day. So happy with them though!
