    Love ice!

    My wife and purchased this unit along side the GE Profile - 27.7 Cu. Ft. French-Door Refrigerator with Hands-Free AutoFill. This additional ice maker is what sold us on our decision to get that model. We love having plenty of ice and having this 2nd ice maker is amazing!

    Still no ice

    Was very excited to have an additional ice maker. However this product was challenging to install. When we finally got it to work, it made one batch of ice. That was it though, just one batch. Trying to troubleshoot the issue, but still no luck.

    Love It!

    Icemaker easy to install, although instructions could be better. Works great, like it was done in the factory. Hoses are pre-cut, connectors are impossible to confuse. Can make a lot of ice, does not take up much room in bottom freezer and easy to access ice that is made. Can be turned off easily if you do not need the extra ice all of the time

    Works Great - Easy to Install

    Got this to go along with a new GE French Door refrigerator. Really glad we did as it produces plenty of ice for our family of 6 (and the in-door icemaker does not). This was really easy to install and works well.

    Happy to have a 2nd Ice Maker!

    We’ve had it for two weeks - plentiful ice so far. The cubes are a good size and doesn’t take up too much of the freezer space

    Model PVD28BYNFS automatically comes with an icemaker. The IM5D kit is not compatible with that model. The kit provides what you need to install an optional second icemaker in certain French Door refrigerators with model numbers starting with PYD22K, PFD28K, GFD28G, DFE28J, GFE28G, GYE22H, PFE28K, PYE22K, and GFE28H.
