A: This GE Profile PFD87ESPVRS model is approved for 0" minimum clearances to combustible surfaces on all sides and top, including the rear. However, for improved performance, a 1/2" clearance is suggested on each side. The rear of the dryer should face a wall. Consideration must be given to provide adequate clearance for installation and service.

A: This model can be exhausted to the right of the cabinet, to the left of the cabinet, to the bottom of the cabinet, and standard rear exhaust. A: We do not advise taking off the plastic end filter attachment to clean inside the dryer. However, we do advise performing the cleaning tips provided on page 13 of the Owner's Manual. You can view the Owner's Manual by searching your model number on the GE Appliances website and selecting your appliance. Once scrolling down on the product page, you will see a button that says Owner's Manual on the right side.
Q: How do you turn off the steam on the dryer
A: When setting up your cycle, you will want to make sure that the "Reduce Static" and "Steam Sanitize" is not selected. You can find more information on pages 7 and 8 inside the user manual located in the "Features" section on the Best Buy product page.

Solid dryer
We've had this dryer since summer of '25 or about 6 months. The load capacity for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids is enough for us to use the dryer maybe twice a week for a full weeks worth of clothes. We haven't had any issues with our dryer throughout these past 6 months. I highly recommended cleaning the filter after every use because lint builds up fast. Some of the drying times seem long but overall it does a good job.

Efficient
The dryer works really well, the app gives me alerts to when the cycle will end. When i set the type the timer comes up and I have been skeptical that it can really dry in that time because of my old dysr but pleasantly im surprised it works so well and efficient. I love the color and its much quiter than the old set i had

Happy Purchaser
Love the bigger size that allows for oversized comforters and mattress pads to dry in one setting instead of taking 2 and sometimes 3 settings in my old dryer to get those items dry. Runs quiet and love the blue color to match my laundry room area. So far after a few weeks no complaints.
