Generation Dude - Crimes Against Yourself - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

When it comes to the Delta blues, all roads lead to it's father figure Charley Patton. An immensely gifted performer, Patton served as a major influence on other legendary bluesmen who followed including Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf.

2015 . Tom Dyer is a Pacific Northwest fellow-a rather noisy one. For his ninth in the last six years, he embraces the NW canon of his youth-works by The Sonics, The Wailers, Paul Revere & The Raiders, The Ventures, The Fleetwoods, The Kingsmen, Merrilee Rush & The Turnabouts, as well as many lesser known gems from the 1959-68 period, when Northwest bands could deliver radio hits on the teen beacon of Seattle's KJR. To execute this difficult task, a raucous band of Green Monkey all-stars was assembled with members of King County Queens and the Green Pajamas. Producer Steve Fisk was brought in to track the unholy racket.
