My son, who also has nasal allergies, told me that he purchased an air purifier and it made a big difference in his ability to sleep, and basically enjoy all 12 months of the year! So, I decided to take the plunge and get a big one that could "travel" with me from room to room ( our living room has a cathedral ceiling and is open to the dining and kitchen as well). I was skeptical at first, but have found that I don't sneeze, or have a runny nose/eyes anymore! This unit is quiet but I love the white noise for sleeping (I put the fan on its highest speed). It also has the UV light for the soon to be here cold and flu season. Excellent product!

This was the first air purifier that I have purchased. We have one dog and a lot of dust in the air. We use it in the living room and in the bedroom to help clean the air. I noticed a great difference within a few hours. This thing really moves the air on full speed. I like the tower unit which cuts down on floor space, and the UV light is a great night light. The sleep timer is a great feature too so it doesn't run all night (unless you want it to). It is a bit noisy at high speed but very tolerable at lower speeds (5 settings). The fan noise helps put me to sleep though, so it's all good. Drawback: The hand hold at the top/back is off center of balance and its just a slot, with no grips, so it can slip off your fingers when you go to pick it up and move it (most of the weight is at the bottom). Other than that, no complaints. It works great.

Had it now for 5 weeks, running it almost 24/7. Use UV light only when really necessary. Have in dinning room kitchen area and does a good job on the cooking odors. Moved it to the bedroom for a few days, and we both notice the air difference. The words on the control board could be a little larger. Check the air filters out 3 weeks after and cleaned the black one, which means its doing the job. Hope it will last 5 yrs, like our Honeywell did.

I bought this mainly because we live with a cat and a dog. We have been on allergy pills for quite sometime and I'm looking for a better solution. I used to get up in the morning with my nose stuffy. Since I bought this purifier. We haven't have to take those pills and I wake up feeling rested and not itchy on my nose. I run it all night and mode 2 is very quiet it doesn't affect your sleep. I would really recommend this to people who has pets.

Found out our 20 month old has a mild allergic reaction to our 9 yr old dog, wanted to do everything we could to prevent reaction but also not get rid of our dog,,(he's family too, and our son loves him) bought 2 of the Germ Guardian units and since our son has not had any reaction/episodes. Hoping these and other steps of course will allow us to keep our son happy and healthy along with keeping the family pet.

Very good buy and worth every penny. Purchased on sale and have been amazed. This air purifier is a real workhorse. Have it right behind me and can still meet clients without them knowing it's in the room - it's that quiet. Saw a difference in 72 hours and can tell when I forget to turn it on. Timer is great and use at a 3 or 4 setting - that's all that's needed - really does the job.

I'm really pleased with this purchase. The dust has basically vanished from my apartment, I'm not nearly blowing my brains out sneezing, and the pet odors are virtually gone. I wish I would've purchased it sooner!

I bought this Air Purifier because it was well reviewed. It has a pretty good build quality and doesn't take up a ton of space. The fan has 5 speeds, and while speeds 3-5 crank up the volume, settings 1-2 aren't too bad. We have this in the baby's room. We leave it on 1 overnight, and if we feel it's necessary, we'll set it higher during the day. The only problem I have with it is the UV light. While the UV feature is nice to have, it is accompanied by a bright blue light when turned on. We don't use the UV feature very often (I think it's just for deodorizing), so it's not enough to kill the deal, but just a heads up.

Works as described. Different settings make is easy to run quietly at night. Filters keep the air fresh and clean. It is nice knowing the air you breathe is better as the UV light takes care of the bacteria.

thi s is one of the best air purifiers I have ever owned. Much better than the Ionic Breeze or others which have an ionic type system. They also perform better then some of the standard filters on the market. I can notice the difference it's time I turn it on. I have pets and allergies so this is a must. Excellent product Anddefinitely recommended.

I really like this cleaner. Does the job well. I like that I can lower the blow fan at night.

Bought this for my son that has dust mite allergies, but we all use it. We really put it to work when we took our carpeting out. No one coughed/sneezed once it was on and it helped prevent the dust from passing the hall and entering the rooms. This works very well on smells too. I have an open floor plan house and this came in handy after a meal that I cooked. I was afraid it would not work well due to the amount of space it had to cover, but it worked like a champ.

Unit is working really well. Love the UV light, especially during this flu and cold season. Hopefully, some household germs will be gone! We keep the unit running night and day on the third level. It isn't very noisy - we watch tv easily and it sits right next to us. I bought one of these for my son for Christmas, and he is enjoying the fresher air (he has several animals)

I am allergic to pet dander... and we have both a dog & a cat. We have this model in our family room. After 2 days, the amount of sneezing has dropped to almost NEVER! IT's not too loud and we run it all the time.

This works well at purifying air. I am able to tell a difference when waking up. Not as much mucus. First one came dented. I returned it in store and Best Buy quickly shipped a new one. Great service.

I actually bought two of these, one for the downstairs and one primarily for the bedroom. I really noticed a difference in the bedroom when it is running. Not sure if I notice much of a difference downstairs. I really do like the timer on it and it does run pretty quiet on the lower settings. Overall so far I think they have been worth the value paid for them.

Filter looks good and the design is sound with good materials. Filter replacements can be found at most hardware stores and online easily. The blue led looks great at night and on lower speeds the fan is quiet. However, as you crank it up, so does the noise level, if that doesn't bother you, this is a great filter. It is quite quiet at lower speeds.

love this thing. moved into a new place and the smell of paint still lingered. and the dust from the new carpet gave me allergies. left this on over night and woke up without any congestion. we use this while we cook as well. the smell of the food we cook is completely gone within a couple hours. definitely worth the money.

My child has seasonal as well as pet allergies. I purchased (2) of these units and noticed a difference with my child's condition the very next day! One of the best investments ever!
