Gibraltar Hardware - Dunnett Roto Style R7 3-Position Snare Drum Throw Off w/ Swivel Lever Quick Release Clamp & Adjustable Friction Control

Take full control of your snare drum’s feel and response with the Gibraltar SC-GR-7-C Dunnett R7 3-Position Snare Drum Throw Off. Designed for discerning drummers, this high-performance throw off combines quiet operation, ergonomic engineering, and versatile functionality into a compact, sleek package. At the heart of the R7 is its 3-position tension system, allowing you to toggle between multiple snare settings quickly—ideal for switching dynamics mid-song or fine-tuning your snare's response to fit the room. The swivel lever offers smooth, ergonomic action and can rotate neatly to your preferred angle without obstructing your playing space. What sets the R7 apart is its quick release clamp, which makes changing snare-side heads fast and effortless. No more wasted time dialing in your throw off after a head change—just swap, lock, and play. Plus, the adjustable internal friction system keeps your snare tension locked in, even during high-energy performances or extended recording sessions. Compatible with a wide range of snare drums thanks to its adjustable mounting channel (up to 40mm), the Gibraltar SC-GR-7-C is ideal for custom drum builders, restorers, or players upgrading their setup. Built with precision and designed for performance, this throw off is the base model of the Dunnett range—but delivers far more than basic functionality.
