Solid motherboard with lots of features. The 2.5G ethernet port and the 6 SATA ports is hard to come by at a reasonable price these days. Worked straight out of the box with my 14700K cpu, no BIOS update required. Installing an SSD m.2 drive is super easy on this board. No issues so far. Great packaging too.

This motherboard does what it does best and it's the best at absolutely doing what it should do in every way.

After 3 weeks, I've been very pleased with my new Z790 motherboard. Computer runs great. Great value here, more features than a cheap board but not priced like the high end ones.

Be sure to update the BIOs if youre running the rev 1.0 model .

WiFi drivers listed on Gigabyte site dont work with Windows 10. Upgraded to 11 begrudgingly and same download worked. This board from Best Buy is Revision 1.0 uses Mediatek Chip, REV 1.1 is an Intel WIfi chip. These refresh boards are the only thing that matters wtih 14th Gen Intel launch. This refresh board this has thicker PCB than similar board that launched with the 13th Gen, which has shown to give higher DDR5 Frequencies closer to 8000 +/-mhz. Which greatly improves Intel GPU performance. Gigabyte boards have tons of updated ram configs once it detects what sticks you install. My 7200 A Die kit have preset configs in bios upto 8200, probably take some tweaking of voltages for stability or might just work will have lots of memory testing to do with this board. This MB has everything I needed and performed well for the last couple of weeks. Only a couple words of warning, the WIFI does not work out of the box, you will need to be able to download and install the driver. And I have win 11, but Ive read this does not play well with windows 10.

This motherboard works only with Windows 11!!! I've read that they complain that it doesn't work... but I'm happy it works great I put 128gb ddr5 6400mhz The wifi antenna works perfect... to play is the best

This motherboard is a very nice buy. Been working great with my build. And the touch of rgb is very nice. I recommend this board if your looking for a mid to high range build

If I could give it negative stars, I would. Only had it for 2 months. Should have known there would be problems after the MB wouldn't recognize m.2 drives in slot 1. Called for help and got it working in slot 2. After 2 months, the MB suddenly stopped recognizing the m.2 drives. Pulled out the CMOS battery, they reappear in the BIOS, but still won't boot. Gigabyte help was useless. They said to uninstall the MB, put it on a cardboard box, supply power, and stick a screwdriver somewhere to check the m,2 connectors. I tell you where I'd like to stick a screwdriver. My first experience with GB was great, but this has soured me from them forever. There are numerous people online who have encountered the same issues. My guess would be that this is some type of manufacturing problem that they don't want to admit to. $300 wasted.

I love this motherboard. It goes great with my intel 14700kf, and rtx 5070 it. It has a solid cooler for ssd. Also you can equip 4 ssds' if you want too.

Glad I got this since I was sitting on my 13700k cpu for awhile . Pc runs fast and smooth and not hot

I will give this one star, even though it could be as high as 5 - but either the cpu or the board did not work. looking at news lately, it seems to be the cpu and not the boards. I never got this working, so i don't know what it was like, but i do have Gigabyte MB's so I know about the quality ans stability of them, which would have been great - if working. Intel has has issues with their CPU's for these, overpowering them causing them to under perform or not even work. so I gave up on the platform after having two CPU's and 3 motherboards.

It does the job and really solod io ports. I got this one because it has wifi 7 as well

It sits perfectly in my case and has all the slots and performances needed to up my gaming experience!
