Glass Caves - Back To Earth - VINYL LP

Vinyl LP pressing. Multi-platinum rock band Needtobreathe returns with their unique fusion of modern rock, purpose driven-soul and undeniable mainstream appeal on their ninth studio album. Caves is a collection of awe-inspiring melodies, breathtaking instrumentation and epic-scale energy, giving the band's soul-probing approach a more expansive new scope, featuring a wide array of special guests, including country hitmakers Carly Pearce and Old Dominion and alt-rock band and tourmates Judah & The Lion.

Atlanta-based rock trio of Mlny Parsonz (vocals, guitar), Josh Weaver (bass), and Evan Diprima (drums) deliver a powerful build of darting, bluesy riffs and booming, soulful vocals that encapsulate the visceral and spirited sound of Royal Thunder. Their first since the critically acclaimed WICK, Rebuilding The Mountain is a welcome return for the band.

For his fourth Criss Cross recording, pianist Luis Perdomo offers a swinging affair, on which a crackling quintet of New York first-callers interprets 7 originals by the leader (the centerpiece is the well-wrought six-piece InchSpirits and Warriors SuiteInch that gives the CD it's title), Clifford Jordan's iconic jazz standard InchGlass Bead Games,Inch and the classic ballad InchPortrait of Jenny.Inch Propelled by drumgrandmaster Billy Hart and bassist Ugonna Okegwo, who lock in like life-long partners, tenor saxophonist Mark Shim and trumpeter Alex Sipiagin, a Criss Cross regular, uncork cogent solos, some inflamed, some nuanced.
